Tough Day -- That's Okay...

I mentioned that my nurse practitioner (Leslie) phoned yesterday while Marilyn and I were 'out and about' during Sue's hair appointment. She insisted on going through ALL the damn lab numbers. Marilyn said after that we had made an appointment ESPECIALLY to discuss my current situation, and we didn't want to get into the rest of it ( Read more... )

I envy your positive attitudes, good for you. I, too, am having serious issues with my sister who lives in Calif. I am guessing she had a serious depression and was evicted from her apartment and is in some type of behavioral institution. Long story, but the last time I tried talking to her, she set the phone down (I guess) and walked away. All I know is a lady called from where she is and said she was safe. Nothing I can do. Tough dealing with family. I don't know if more is involved such as age, but maybe one day I will know. Good luck with your sister.

I hadn't thought about lead, but it is similar...
Hopefully if that is what is causing trouble it can be treated.
And, old paint has caused a lot of folks problems with it, so maybe...

A tough day is an understatement! When will you be seeing the specialist? So impressed that you and Marilyn always manage to stay positive!

There just seems to be so much in your labs and I hope you do get a referral or three for the right doctor(s). The high lead levels, the pancreas issues...I'm just glad you have that positive nature as that will help you get through anything...though I wish Sue would take care of herself and that Marilyn has a better time at work.
Keep us posted about any specialist consults.
((hugs))

Actually, MOST doctors are fully unaware of lead, lead poisoning and treatment and solutions ( ... )

I became an expert on lead, working in the Superfund site in North Idaho. Let me know if you need anything!
