I was originally planning to go to work this morning. But Marilyn had to be in very early (GFP Creative Team Meeting), and I was having one of my crazy stiff neck things that often lead to vertigo, so I stayed home. (Later in the day it was also my back bothering me. I don't know why, but oh well

It was so fun to talk to you and watch all of the television coverage of The Grand Marshall. I love him and think it is a super idea. I sure do not care about the sour grapes people who do not like the idea. The fun part of The Portland Rose Festival needs to be saved forever and people need to quit being so negative. I am so proud of my great sisters and can see Mom smiling down on you both. You know she is loving all of this. She made us all love The Rose Festival and look where you and Marilyn are in all of that. Wow life is funny sometimes, and what a great time for Marilyn's 40 year party also. Things happen for a reason and all of this has come together so well. I am going to Roseburg in the morning to see my friend Larry. I am going down to his place next Thursday also, but could not wait to go until then. He is going to cook dinner for me and have some of his cribbage club over to play quite a few card games. It should be very fun.
