Poor Henry!

Henry had a terrible SPELL tonight. It was very much like December, 2010 (Christmas), when we almost lost him. He was trying to throw up -- we assume he was trying to get up a fur ball. He was choking and his mouth was hanging open and he was slobbering and then he got frightened (probably from not being able to breathe!!!) and he turned into a ( Read more... )

So sorry to hear that Henry is having problems again. He is such a great cat and so sweet. He does work hard to live his life and continues to be a super pet for you both. I love both of your cats, but Henry has always been closer with me than Colin. I am glad Colin loves Nicole because she loves him so much. I took Mady and Nicole to their training at the Human society in East County yesterday. It is so cool how they work with all of the volunteers and they can choose, cats, or dogs or both. They now will each get a mentor assigned and have much more training. They must buy an apron with will have their names put on. It is $15 and their was a $15 fee to register. Then after three more weeks of training they will be assigned work groups. Bryan did cancel the beach trip for now and that let her get this training all put together. Poor Henry and poor you having to watch his suffer like that. It's just heart-breaking when our four-footed friends are in distress and we can't really help them much.
I hope he's better today.

We have loads of IKEA furniture and love it. Yes, it's a pain to put together but the cost would soar if the metal plates came already attached and 5 screws is a guarantee of stability. We put so much IKEA together that we have an electric screwdriver to help us along that even has an allen attachment on it. No more blisters!
