Sue in the Hospital -- Wintery Weather Hits Our Area

Went in to work with Marilyn this morning -- it was clear and actually sunny. But we need from the forecast that a winter storm was due to hit any time (they had originally predicted it for the middle of last night). Marilyn was in charge (with Jeff away), so she planned to close at 2:00 p.m. to let everyone go home before things got really bad

I didn't realize Sue's illness was so severe...I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope she does do what they say and stays put until she's better.

The weather is crazy all over the world, it seems.

I am glad Sue was already there,and hope she is at healthy levels soon.

We have new snow dumped too, and the whole valley is closed for schools... And more coming.

Our winter storm warning started Weds night and runs till Saturday night. Kinda like groundhog day at this point, it is all the same .. temperature, color, snow falling ... laughs

My boys are tickled about the snow, of course. Aaron came from Phoenix last April, so he's never seen snow. At 15 years old, he's having a blast. I didn't get an e-mail until 9:00 last night that the schools were closed tomorrow. I thought it ridiculous as well. Portland doesn't get snow...so when it does, people need to stay home. Except for me, of course. I walk to work so I come in. :) (I love to walk in the snow as long as I'm dressed appropriately.)

I'm so sorry to hear Sue is in the hospital, but I'm glad they're taking good care of her. I'm sending lots of good thoughts her way. *hugs*
