Marilyn did some cleaning today -- but I can't claim I was really much help. I really need to get in and do some stuff around, no doubt about it! I guess things just seem to keep getting in my way ( Read more... )

Logan's run! That takes me back.
The whole "youth takes over the world" thing didn't really work out like in the book, did it?

Marilyn was doing well today to clean and run on the tread mill. That is good as I know it makes her feel better.

You seem to be doing better and when do you go see the doctor for the results of your tests? It would seem they would have all of that by now.

I just shampooed my hair and showered so I will be ready for the dinner tomorrow night.

I am running cribbage this week too as Tammy and her boy friend are flying to Michigan to see her Mom and come back next Tuesday.

One of the reasons I enjoy TWD is that the cast is varied. They have young, old, overweight, homely, and pretty. I tire of shows of pretty twenty-somethings if that is all they have to offer.

The age thing can so be an issue, I hear ya. I run into it with teens that see a movie or a tv show and want to be a witch, wiccan, vampire slayer ...

And you answer questions and have some insane parent think you are trolling to recruit their precious blood into a sacrifice and life of satanism ...

shakes head

one has to walk with care :)

Even when I was a teen/twentysomething I liked older people better. My so-called peers often seemed shallow and boring as hell to me. Older people had interesting stories to tell and most of them weren't obsessed with clothes and other things that were not my interests.

The whole mantra of "Never trust anyone over 30" (probably why they used that age on Logan's Run in the film) was one of the stupidest I've ever heard.
