Sounds like your day was great and I am glad. I took the kids to lunch at Olive Garden to celebrate their 18 month anniversary a few days early. We had a nice time together, and they are glad that I care about them a lot. They will miss each other a lot when she goes to California for two and a half weeks. They are going to Las Vegas for several days also.
I am all packed, shampooed my hair and need to go to bed now. I feel a little better, but hope to get better while up there also. I am picking Dot up at 9:00 and heading up to The Dalles, will stop for something to eat and then on to Sunnyside. I need to stop and get a bottle at the liquor store for Jack who puts us up every time we go up there. We try to buy his meals and always take him a bottle.
Your trip to the Gorge sounds lovely. How far is that from you? I seem to remember driving through there once when I was younger on a trip to Seattle with my parents.
The manicure like frosting must be neat! I've never had a manicure or pedicure. I'm told I'm missing out, one of these days I'll do something about that. lol
My Mom had one of those meters and it worked well for her. The test strips are cheaper now than they were when she bought them, but I know she didn't pay $75 or anything like that. It's crazy what they charge for some of those supplies!
