Marilyn and I didn't quite manage to get away from the beach house as early as we'd planned to. But we did 'hit the road' before 12:30 -- so the traffic really wasn't all that bad on the drive home to Portland. (And we were here before 3:00 p.m ( Read more... )

I don't get Revenge anymore. Really. Is Aiden actually "disgusted" that Emily is sleeping with Daniel, or that Daniel isn't sleeping with him? Is Conrad getting any at all, now that he seems disenchanted with the Brit chick? Why in the world is Emily interested in Victoria's long-lost son? When will it be revealed that Padma is/was bad? Wasn't she? Don't tell me she was REALLY Nolan's love. Is Jack the new Revenger? WTF 'Falcon'? Was The Initiative not weird enough?

So, Andrea. I can't believe they actually killed her. Or she killed herself. Should she have died seaons ago? She chose the wrong guys, I guess. She should have stuck with Michonne. And I was surprised they couldn't quite part with The Governor yet, but maybe that's a good move, good for David Morrissey, anyway, an actor I really like.

What a relief those ants are coming in my bedroom window, just inches from my bed! I mean, what a relief we found their path ....

Why can,t Conrad be Governor of Oregon? At least he'd probably be willing to ride in the parade!

When I talked to Marilyn I didn't know that you had gone to the beach for the week-end. Hope you had a wonderful time there. The tournament was fun, and seeing all of my cribbage friends was nice. Still wasn't feeling very well, and Tammy was very sick while we were there. Hope she gets better soon. I will call you on Monday.

I've found ant powders (don't remember the brand name) place across the paths they use to be very effective. But, I don't know if that would be a problem for the cats or not.

Spray some salt water of vinegar around the area the ants are coming in from. That will stop them.

I hear you on the ants. Is saw the first ones in our kitchen yesterday. UGH.
*reminds self to go out and buy new ant poison* (I used old stuff, too, and it seems to have stopped the invasion for now).
