I think it's so odd how the nation is so fixated on being low/no salt and low/no sugar. These aren't the issues they've been made out to be. But sorbitol??? Nasty stuff! So many people are sensitive to it. I wonder if the doctor will have an alternative? I somehow doubt it -- I think all the companies have jumped on the sorbitol bandwagon, Frank!
I'll tell Rosanna your kind words. She lost her mother about two years ago. It was the same for us: We lost Dad in 1998 and Mom in 2000... She lived with her dad, which makes it harder, I think...

I knew sorbitol was in a lot of 'sugar free' things, like candy and other sweets (and many drinks). But to find it inside MEDICINE (!!!) seems really ridiculous to me! I was stunned. And to hunt and hunt for meds without it seems crazy. No alternatives??? Really?
I think perhaps your antacid problem is a sign you need to put on your science-y lab coat 'n' gloves and invent an alternative to the sorbitol-laden products already on the market, Charlie! ;)

Yes, sorbitol is in so much stuff it's amazing...in lots of candy, too.
