No clue, really. I spoke with PGE, but they weren't really sure. A substation was out -- a big deal in a city the size of Portland. Not average for us AT ALL. We've never had an outage like this since being in the Rose Building...
Looks like TWO computers may be out -- one the finance computer. So I'm bummed out. But we'll make it work somehow... (sigh)
I don't normally mention the festival by name, but it's pretty easy to reason out if you know Portland at all. I've told about our Centennial back in 2007, winning Best Festival in the world for both 2007 and 2011 and so on. (grin) Marilyn and I both work for the Portland Rose Festival Foundation, Portland's Official Festival.
Marilyn got involved with Portland's Sister Cities years back and was on the board of Portland-Sapporo Sister City Association for two (almost three) years. (I'm their webmaster.) They're involved with the Grand Floral Parade through Marilyn... Our city is very diverse.
What a day and night you both had, and wonderful Marilyn came to my doctors appointment and of course that was late by the doctor and I am feeling fear about the new stronger water pills which I will take every other day. Maybe they will help me get this fluid off and the referral to the gyn, may be something good for me and for Marilyn. It is to stop or help the peeing myself problems. It is something you put in and out yourself. Hope tomorrow will be a better day for you, call me so I know when I can come and get you and take you to get your meds and Marilyn's.
Sounds very GOOD, Sue! I'm glad you got some positive changes from this appointment. Exciting!
Marilyn LOVES to go to appointments with you -- and I agree that it's great when she can go. I hope she can go with me, too.
Thanks for taking me to the store, to get meds and to the dentist, Suzy. I don't know what I'd do without you!!! (And for going all the way downtown to get me yesterday... yikes...)
Glad you got your teeth FIXED yesterday, by the way! I did put a good word in with Mary during the beginning of my appointment.
What a mess! I'm glad you made it safely walking through the dark. I hope the problems aren't too bad today as far as the computer issues. Every time the power goes out here and our computers go down it takes awhile to get things going again.

Glad you made it through OK and hope the computer problems aren't long term.

Well, we may have lost two new computers (including the finance computer... sigh...) -- but we'll make it work somehow. (sigh)
