Noel had two important qualities which meant that he could remain in his current state, unaffected by the weather: the first was that he was half Scottish, the second was that he was also half English.
Hahahahaha, I love this! Also eye rolling as an indication of drunkenness. He probably still looks refined doing it, but since his face is usually so controlled, it says a lot.

Yeah he usually says that he just doesn't have an expressive face, but the truth is he tries to hide a lot of his emotions, mainly to appear cool and collected to others, something which he thinks is impressive. I couldn't think of what kind of flaw he would have, Noel is a rugby-boy man-child, Zach has an angry-at-the-world/I'm better than you attitude, and Jared can't handle conflict as well as people think he can - he needs to dispel tension as soon as possible or otherwise he gets nervous and useless and talks and talks and talks.
But Ceithin's meant to be this amazing, perfect guy who maybe was over-protective of his Prince. But until he remembers his past he's got to have something, so I figure that maybe it's that he tries to hard to be the person he wants to be, not realising that he already is...

I love that you love this, I had always planned to write this scene but I could never figure out what it was missing, until you gave me your prompt, and then I realised what the scene needed: NOEL.

I think everyone has to love Nephrite, in all his incarnations, he's just the loveable one!
