Without making all comms moderated sign-ups only there's no way to stop these idiots. I flagged it as a bot as soon as I saw it; I probably should have PM'd you but I'm never sure if that's what mods want (at risk of having twenty or more PM's whining about a bot!) and this is at least the third or fourth unique spambot in the past six weeks or so. Some kind of epidemic. Thanks for dealing with it swiftly :)
I've noticed a lot in some of the larger communities I frequent, but I was wondering if we were perhaps a little too small for the spambots' attention. Obviously not!
And please, feel free to PM me in future, I would hate to miss something. The only reason I spotted it so quickly was coming straight into the community to reply to a comment whose notification email I'd deleted!
