You just made me cry - but it's okay, there is nothing better to cry over than fic. I am not even a huge fan of Cassie/Dean and yet this hit me so hard. Cassie is living the life Dean never can and that quiet way he clings to the things she has to tell him is so Dean - very well done. The final email from Cassie is what broke me. Lovely.

Hello! I'm not sure if you'll see this comment, but I love, love, love this fic. I've been searching for Dean/Cassie for a while, and I love the idea that they kept in contact for a while. The ending absolutely broke my heart. I think they would've been so good together.

Thank you!! Cassie is my absolute favorite Dean love interest. If she came back, I'd probably start watching again. :)
