What's going on in North Africa now is both excilirating and frightening. It's excilirating because I think it's wonderful to see people fight for freedom, and it gives me hope to see that the desire to live in a free country, is universal. North Korea must be a frightful place. I've read how South Koreans organised support for those who run away and cannot cope with (the demands of) life outside the regime.

It's frightful and completely and utterly bizarre at the same time. Dictators usually are, because they're usually completely and utterly insane.
