It was! I love her music so much, and those kinds of concerts can't really ever be anything but good, mostly. It helps that she's adorable too. :D

I have to say that I have never liked that actress before, but she totally works in this role. And I have found the threesome fic impossible to resist.

I've been in a constant state of arousal since I read the first one. DAMN IT.

I've been incredibly pleasantly surprised by how fabulous she is in White Collar! I love her character. :D

I haven't searched out any fic yet, I've just read what people on my FL have written. I'm not there yet, but the tipping point is close. *g*

Yeah, the fic is a little uneven right now. I love the show, though, and agree about the need to focus on character. I especially would like to see Kate as a more three-dimensional character because she's just not compelling right now, and I don't understand Neal's obsession at all. Also, you need to catch Tiffani Thiessen in Fastlane -- very much a departure from 90210 and her Saved by the Bell days.

I've read exactly two stories! They were both excellent, but then, they were by trusted quality writers. Any recs, perhaps?

It's supposed to be a character-driven show, so I hope they get deeper into that. And you're right, it's very difficult to find much sympathy for Neal's obsession with Kate. But perhaps her part IS getting bigger, with that cliffhanger and all...

I can't say I'm completely into fanfiction about this show

Is there any fanfic that's just Peter/Neal? Because I completely agree with you - seems the default fanfic pairing would be the threesome, and I just don't do threesomes.

And mmmmmmm, Matt Bomer is very pretty. *ogles*

One of the two stories I HAVE read was Peter/Neal actually. So I do think there are people, like me, who's not really into threesomes. I do exceptions, but it has to be really, really good.

Matt is awfully pretty, I see everyone of that show falling over themselves to be with him. :D
