Aww, this was so beautiful and sad. So poetically written! I loved it. What a great character study of Emily.

I really, really hope we get some indication of how she's coping (or not) with all this on the show. I really do. I'm afraid they won't go too far into it. So I had to try and explore that.

But I'm still really holding out hope that they will go there.

This was lovely but gut-wrenchingly painful. Just the way I enjoy my fic. I especially like the Dorado falls part, referencing holding the girl back.

as you can probably tell I like the fics that hurt too.

oh thank you! I was a little unsure of that part. I knew I wante d to refrence it because..well Paget's acting there was fantastic and it actually painful to watch that part because of how upsetting it had to be for Emily (all parties involved really, but you can just see it)

This is great! Exactly how I see Emily, and what I'm trying to remember if they butcher her characterization on the show. I hope they remember that this is how she is, but also that she's human, does that make sense? We shall see. You're right there in her head though :)

ahhh I love this. Poor Prentiss. This is all so lovely.

This is my favorite line:
Work is a solace, she can fill her mind with cases and profiles - all puzzles needing to be solved so urgently that it would be a disservice to the victims, to the team, to dwell on her own issues.
