Two purposes

1) I bought a Flickr account, and I'm going to try to fill it with all the wedding pictures. I'll post the address this weekend once everything currently in my possession is uploaded, but in the meantime if people who took wedding pictures could either point me to their current location online or make arrangements with me so that I might obtain ( Read more... )

I will agree that the way that Spelljammer interacts with the established worlds is problematic. There's just no explaining why inter-sphere travel isn't widely-known, and why any world would not be a major port.

But I will disagree on the nature of Spelljamming. While artifact spaceships are certainly a simple, appealing device, Spelljamming as a means of astronavigation--especially as the ONLY means--is to me a lot more interesting, and has a lot more flavor. The process is strenuous, somewhat dangerous, and a constant factor the players must bear in mind. It's also consistent, which a lot of magic-focussed games just don't seem to care about.

What about Planescape? Spelljammers show up there, from time to time. And we all love the multiverse.

I'm just saying. Planescape specifically has something for everyone.
