I took a stab at yours, and this is exactly 100 words. I also left the starter sentence alone, though I could have tuned it tighter.
“Is there a reason you’re not going to finish your drink?” Kellen asked me as I pushed my chair back from the dinner table.
“You ask that after spending the week with her?" I stood.
he grabbed my wrist. "Sit. NOW." he ordered, whispering., His irises changed from emerald green to deep blood red. "You’re not leaving until you hear me out."
I remained standing, eyes closed, feeling energy flowing to the edges of the room. Every glass exploded, including his. He dropped it, shocked.
He let go. “Jerk. Goodbye.” Everyone heard me, and stared at him as I left
