So my vision towards starting a band is beginning to materialize....

Since it's my vision, I'll assume the role of leader as the architect of the band. My weapon of choice? Electric guitar. One of 3 such players in the band, along with a bass player (one sometimes switching off to play 2nd bass).

That's when this girl in class interrupted her and said, "What are you talking about? I love that show! In every episode, Tim puts down his wife and ends up looking like an idiot at the end of the show. Jill is probably the best role model for women out there because she shows how to put up with bullshit and win every time in the face of the male ego....do you even watch the show!?"

That is a really astute observation. Even Heidi who (we suppose) was hired for her looks, is portrayed as being more intelligent and capable (even in the supposedly male dominated area of do-it-yourself 'handyman' projects) than either of her male counterparts. Wilson is painted as a wise but eccentric man, more academic than relevant, as endearing as his proverbs are... (It could be argued that Tim is portrayed in a similar manner, without the wisdom!) The women are more conscious and practical in most situations in that program. Even Tim's mother seems to have better coping skills than Tim, when she decides it is time for her to date again.
