I love Igo. And I love Tisdale. Their classes are so great. I just love their teaching so much, it brings me great joy and the learning experience is incredible ( Read more... )

Igo's one of the best teachers I've ever had.

Being a good teacher doesn't mean everyone gets As on everything. Being a good teacher means your students learn something, retain it, and are able to use it. Not everything asked on his last quiz was in the previously assigned reading, but it was covered. And if you were able to learn it and retain it, then you remembered. But people forget. So you can't really blame your grades on his faults.

I enjoy the hell out of his class. He doesn't give lectures - he tells stories. And, at least for me, it's easier to retain information that way. (That's probably why I know more about Spiran and Ivalician history than American history.)

I'm learning, and I'm enjoying. That's two things that you hardly ever get in the classroom, least of all together…

Maybe it's just me.

I feel like I'm learning. I guess. And I know everything shouldn't revolve around grades.
