The colors of the old nautical chart were still vivid even after almost 200 years.
“Amazing. And the accuracy,” Matt shook his head, “you’d think the cartographer had viewed the Earth from a plane or space satellite. However did they do it?” He looked over at the man displaying the map, “I’ll want it authenticated of course.”
The man smiled at him. “Of course,” was said with smooth placidity.
“And the cost?” It saved time to know these things while waiting for authentication, so funds were available and a prize not snatched away by someone else.
“Oh, just your soul.”
