I'm glad you've found something that works. I think that's a lot bigger part of writing than we sometimes think.
Also, I have your story sitting in my inbox. I'm not sure when I'll get to it, although I'll try. Lately I've been busy with random things, like yesterday, where they sprayed for bugs, which is good, but involved taking everything out of cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom, cleaning everything, leaving for a while because of the poison, coming back and cleaning up the poison, and putting everything back. So in spite of spending much time on everything, it didn't feel like I got much done. Also, I'm not sure I can get my brain in editing mode, although I'll try. Speaking of editing mode, do you have a preferred way for me to comment (such as with little comment boxes or in colored type)?
All this writing is inspiring. I may have to dust off some of my stories, if my brain ever returns to pre-engagement levels or normalcy.
I'm so happy for you! I'm working on my novel too, and I agree with the "just do it" attitude. It's not easy, but it's glorious. And doing something for the sake of doing it is BRILLIANT. But I bet you get published.

... Urgh, let's pretend I never wrote that.
I will get on reading that draft. Sorry!
