We have 10 of these here right now (not including the two in the shop). The cat alarms all seem to be set at different times, and at times cat alarms will interact with each other, sometimes very noisily, to ensure the human is awake.
You seem to have forgotten another alarm level; The Object Assist. This is where the cat alarm decides to use items in its environment to boost the sound levels of the alarm. The higher and harder the item the better. Bonus points of it's something the cat alarm can drop on your face (thanks Spot). he likes taking slippers and dropping it on our faces when he is in the mood for Fetch at 6AM.
