Books in 2011

Some folks on my friends list have been doing the read 100 books in 2011 meme that's going around. I want to participate too, but I think it would be too stressful for me to try for a finite amount of books. Instead my personal challenge is going to be to keep track of how many books I do read, and write a review or reaction to each one

They Fought for the Motherland is a great book...that happens to be written by my sorta mentor and adviser for my graduate degree stuff. It's about the women's battalions that served in combat in WWI in Russia. There aren't many new copies left, but there are plenty of used ones on Amazon. Plus, awesome topic. Just going by her lectures (I own the book and it's on my reading list), it should rock hard core.
