Sounds like me and my driver's license, except you have some control of the process. Don't worry, it's just that it's 4 am and I want to snarl at most gov't agencies. Rose gets to take a friggin' cab at 4:30 because I'm a criminal...because I'm epileptic. (That's the SR-22 part.) The semi-reasonable part is that the form the doctor has to fill out...has to be mailed to me...so I can hand carry it to him...go back and get it or wait on the mail...never mind. Your situation is much worse than mine. And your poise throughout is to be envied and emulated.
