But you don't enjoy describing every thought, movement, tile on the floor, person you pass, facial expression, stitch in your clothing, breath your character takes, and what your character did five years ago?
Come on, we need description. If you don't, they'll have nothing to go on, because nothing can be assumed.
Which is why I love playing in games that you run. I don't feel like I *have* to think of four paragraphs of crap to write for one reply. I don't have to look something over and think 'is this enough?'
You guys are awesome, so don't worry about the occasional suckage of others. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences.
We left UC, in case you didn't see the OOC post of the mod-type about reply length. I don't even think it was about us in particular, but I don't want to play in a game where taking half an hour to write a tag is a standard practice.
From the looks of things, it's looking like I'll be back by Friday. My parents gave me the money this weekend to have my lap top looked at, and it's now in the shop with a tentative date of pick up on Friday. Hope to see you then!
Haha! I play like that. I like playing with equally introspective and wordy players. One-liners frustrate me! But I'd never ban them. If they give me something to work with, I work with them, and if they don't, I try to end the scene gracefully. It's just a game. No need to make up extra rules.
Heh, this is actually why I joined "C'est la vie" recently, and I *still* barely get a moment to write one-liners *lol*
I did genuinely enjoy the last game I was in - huge long comments, often at high speed - but eventually it became too time-consuming and too much like one-upmanship and frankly I don't have the bloody time. Fine for anyone who can take that pace and wants to spend time on collaborative fanfiction, but not me.

I know exactly how you feel.

Also, I don't think that a paragraph or two constitutes a one-line reply, either, so it wasn't like there wasn't stuff to work with.
You've played with me before, you know how I play ;)
