Ungrateful turtles and quiet weekends

Yesterday we rescued a very ungrateful box turtle from the middle of the road. We picked him up and helped him cross to the other side- but the whole time he was hissing at us from deep inside his shell where he'd retreated, and when we put him on the other side he popped out his headand gave us a rather indignant look like "I had the situation

maybe I should take a knitting class

I want to, but I think they are on thurs and I work then. plus I'm not yet bored with making simple scarves.

I'm making them more fun by using 2 kinds of yarn together. I have about 5 started already that I'm working on intermittenly

oh and sorry that I like never comment. for as much as I ramble on, sometime I jsut have nothing to say/

Classes are a lot of fun! I've made scarves and I'm working on a blanket, too - all crocheting. I tried knitting, but I found that the motions involved were a lot more difficult for me than crochet.

And don't worry about the comment thing- I do the same thing. I read my friends page almost every day, but I rarely have anything to say about what I read (and sometimes I'm just too lazy to, even when I do!)
