sandlewood incense rocks my world.
as far as the passage of time like that, i hear it's a sign of ADD or something - one of the many things (uneducated) people have at one time or another diagnosed me incorrectly with hahahaha! i, too, have that problem. oftentimes i find myself writing 99 as the year, or october as the month (year round) -one time when i was in school i got up to october 36th without realizing it was november... ^_^
I think with me (since I don't have any other signs of ADD) it is that time is an artificial construct that man created that my body and mind have never quite agreed with. Minutes, hours, days, years dont' seem to hold the same significance for me as they do most people. I have had minutes that I can remember as clearly as if they had lasted an eternity, and whole years of time from which I can remember nothing important, even when I look at photographs or writings from that time. It is litterally as if that time existed outside of 'time', and who's to say that it didn't?
Scientists now believe that time is non-linear. For all we know, outside the confines of what we have constructed for ourselves to avoid insanity, past present and future could be all occuring right here and now.
Time is like Santa Claus, or the Easter Bunny- a mass delusion created for and maintained by simple children of the Earth who cannot yet handle the universal truth.
