The weather gods hate me!

Well, I'm not on my way to Canberra. Driving over to my mother's place to drop off a spare set of keys to my house I was almost blown off the road - a combination of very high winds and a very small car.

Things just got worse from there. Apparently we're having what the radio describes as a "once in a decade weather event". The high winds were

Basically, I got into LJ in order to read SPN fic, to the great annoyance of my friend sangerin, who had been enjoying the wonders of LJ for years, but who sadly does not appreciate the brilliance of SPN. I'm working on her.
