I don't know about choosing to-- I really didn't decide on this at all. That riddle doesn't make any sense...

If it made complete sense, Miss Maka, it would not be a very clever riddle, would it?

I suppose not, but it doesn't help if they're too cryptic either... If it isn't that, I don't know what else it could be-- a warning, maybe? But I can't think of why they'd make a warning so hard to figure out.

You seem to be assuming that the message was meant to inform us in some way.

... Then what else could it be? Decoration?

That is the question, isn't it? Why, perhaps it was there merely to divert our attention elsewhere.

You've really thought this through, huh? ...It's not a bad thing, but it does raise more questions. In the end, it doesn't really help if all we do is sit here and speculate what it could possibly be.
