Framing the question (political)

I've been reading a lot of (democratic) political sites recently, and more and more of them are accusing the media and the white house of manipulating the discussion by framing the question.

Yeah, it's definitely a sticky situation without any simple solutions. I'd like to say that contributions intended to put someone in public office should be public information themselves, but a lot of people would disagree. =) I'd also like to make corporate donations illegal and say that only individuals can donate, but that has its own share of associated problems. Sigh.

It is a complicated issue. I like to come up with these radical ideas and see if there's a way to make them work.
