Dear Lucas and Spielberg,

Please do not ruin a great set of movies by making a crappy sequel. I beg of you. Do it right or don't do it at all.

Some hopes:
Using Shia, a guy I liked before he made it big:( Shia and Harrison )

I'm so scared to be excited for this movie! On the one hand it could be so good, on the other hand...Phantom Menace.

But yay for Karen Allen. She looks good.

I know. It has such potential; I love Cate Blanchett and Shia (although I haven't actually seen his more recent work). I love that they understood well enough to bring back Marion, but I've seen crash and burns before. ::sigh:: Here's to next year.

Karen Allen looks the same. What time period are they setting this in? Shia's jacket confuses me. Is it suppose to be in the 50s?

I know, she really does. I remember hearing in the early stages that they were brining back Kate Capshaw, but I was uber excited to see Marion's back. They even made a big point of it when they did a video shout out at the Comic Con Convention. Spielberg came out with a chair that said Marion Ravenwood and brought in Kate, and everyone cheered.

His costume does suggest 50s, which, is technically a decade early for them. The originals took place in the mid to late 1930s, this one is almost 20 years (in real time, not movie land time) after they did the last movie, so they're pushing it with Harrison and Kate's ages.

Oooh she's even prettier older...

When is it coming out? I will probably see it, but will expect bad things, I mean can you really have an old Indy? Seems weird.

I know, she's aged well, I think.

It should be coming out next May. I've been looking forward to the movie for a few years (watching them go back and forth with schedules and personal production satisfactions), but I've seen these guys do poor reprises before.
