Oh holy crap, yes. Too much, sometimes. I mean, I know he's a good guy, but damn he's a manipulator.

Angelus and Spike from BTVS. They both fall into that category.

Angelus... absolutely. Do you really think Spike is a manipulator?

Remember The Yoko Factor? When he was splitting up the Scoobies? Very manipulative.

That's true, in that episode he really did show more manipulation than I normally credit him with. I'd forgotten that episode.

Yoko factor really did show off his more manipulative side, although he was hampered by the chip. And with Harmony, he was manipulative only up to a point, and then he got pretty damn direct. I don't think he has the patience for it that Angelus did, but he certainly can wield that weapon when he wants to.

I totally agree that Inara is a manipulator. She's isn't evil, but she is manipulative. I think Mal annoys her because her most subtle and creative manipulations go right over his head.

I agree with Calypso, Inara from Firefly immediately popped into my head. She is very much a manipulator.

Another example, for those who've seen the series, is Morgana from the new Merlin show. She easily manipulates Arthur, constantly though he is aware of it. She knows just what to do and what to say.

From what little I can remember of Sentinel (it's been years since I've seen the series), I offer up Blair as a bit of manipulator. Mostly in the Muse/Aphrodite sense, but he does know how to exploit people's reactions and weaknesses.

At the moment that's all I can think of, but that could because of the nice pain meds I took a while back ^-^

She's an Aphrodite and a manipulator. I haven't seen the new Merlin, so I don't know about that one, but Blair is a total manipulator!

Uhh... House?? Duh... Cause really. Let's face it. He's devious and always gets what he wants.

And also Jenny from The L Word. And her assistant girl who's name I can't remember... Adelle! That's it.

Let's see... Helen Cutter from Primeval- I don't know if anyone's seen that.

Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl... Tehe.

I think that's all for now...

Oh god... House... YES. He really is a manipulative bastard who knows how to probe for a person's most vulnerable soft spot--which he promptly sporks!
