Oh, fuck. That ending... it's so sad. Really, the whole thing was kind of sad. With the lying, it almost seemed like he was kind of lying to Bert. Ahh I suck at leaving comments, but this was so sad and written great and it made my eyes teary at the end. Loved it.

I was kind of trying to hint that Gerard was lying to him about something- or lying by being with him when he knew he wasn't in love with him anymore. I'm glad that came across.
