What is this item? It's a new style of dress that's taking over the Underground, though it's incredibly unpractical.

Who owns it? Elisa does, but she lends it to her sister Jenny.

How important is it to the story? Sort of, Jenny has alot of issues with the dress, as does her unintended betrothed.

Genre (type of story you'd put it in): Fanfiction/Romance/Humor

Other info: Jenny describes it as a floatation device.

What is this item? The entry for the county science fair by Mrs. Schultz's Grade Eight Earth Science Class. It's a "dress" made out of recycled items (such as a deflated pool raft and chicken wire.)

Who owns it? Mrs. Schultz and her students.

How important is it to the story? Fairly important; it's the project that brings the main characters together and force them to work on achieving a common goal.

Genre (type of story you'd put it in): Young adult.

Other info: The idea for the project came from a girl named Emily, who watches far too much Project Runway.

What is this item? A bubble-wrap suit.
Who owns it? This particular style? The rich, obviously.
How important is it to the story? To the backstory and development, very important. At one point, during the chemical warfare of WWIII it was possible to die from a bruise or a small open sore. Bubble-wrap suits were created to keep people safe from such a thing. Now they're merely the fashion statement of the day.
Genre (type of story you'd put it in) Post-Apocalyptic
Other info Most people live in atmospherically controlled environments. Very few people ever go outside. The actual protective bubble-wrap suits, as well as hazmat suits, are still worn when people venture outside.
