Character Name: Josiah Garrett.

Genre (type of story you'd put it in): Coming-of-age drama.

Describe the Character Physically in Your Own Words: He's a bit of a contradiction--he's quite tall, standing at almost six feet (even though he's only fifteen), but is awkwardly lanky, scooping his shoulders forward and shuffling his feet when he walks. His nose is large and crooked, but he supposes it's a good thing, as it makes sure his glasses don't slide off. His chestnut brown hair is the longest it's ever been in his lifetime--he's finally growing it out from the close-cropped cut his mother's forced on him since he was born.

One Line Description of Character: He has many questions about the world, but has no idea how to ask them.

Tell Us About the Character: Josiah is the fourth of eight children, born to an ultra-conservative Christian family in the Midwest. He's been kept in line by his older siblings, but he's starting to question the ways of his family as well as the ways of the world. He's finally convinced his mother to let ( ... )

Character Name: Alan Hurst
Genre (type of story you'd put it in): Historical
Describe the Character Physically in Your Own Words: He's a 14 year old who is bursting out of his clothes and growing at an alarming rate. He still slouches, no matter how much he's yelled at.
One Line Description of Character: The lazy teenage son of a country vicar who mends his ways by helping evacuees.
Tell Us About the Character: He's a loner who stays up in his room reading whenever he's not being forced into doing errands. His exasperated parents try and find more and more for him to do, but it's not until he meets Milly - a ten year old evacuee - that he starts to bond with someone outside his books.
Why is he praying? He's not, he just wants to go home.

Character Name Boston Peltz
Genre (type of story you'd put it in) Dramatic Comedy
Describe the Character Physically in Your Own Words Always scrawny, Boston's style of dress doesn't do much to beef him out. He's always been the goofy looking kid with sharp features that look entirely too chiseled for his skin-and-bones frame. His hair is in a constant state of dishevelment, even though he takes pains to try and keep it down every morning. And his glasses sit perched on his nose in the exact manner that it's impossible to tell what color his eyes are. They blue, but they sometimes look brown behind the rim of his glasses, who knew!
One Line Description of Character Only son of the very conservative Peltz family, Boston wanted nothing more from life than to be an accountant until he met Starr, the transgendered actress who would introduce him to his future wife, Lola.
Tell Us About the Character Boston is in his last year of accounting school in NYC. He met Starr (his fiance's best friend) when their subway train got held up. Starr ( ... )
