I'm still here, but so intermittently, it doesn't really count.

I do not know what counts, but I'm definitely seeing a small backlash against facebook and twitter, with a few people coming back here or to Dreamwidth.

Developing story, maybe.

I have always liked it better here for telling stories. You just can't do that on FB, and no one reads my Wordpress. Places like LJ or Dreamwidth are perfect, but do require a time commitment. Sometimes it's so easy just to post a pic and a few words on FB and let them guess what it really means.

FB is definitely the medium of the short take, even as much as twitter with its character limits. There are no 1/infinity threads here.

And FB got rid of the notes feature, which was decent when I had a longer post (which few ever read anyway!)

Never been on fb and cannot deal with twitter. Usually read on DW (I stopped crossposting to LJ) but will try checking in here too. A few folks have come back but then disappeared again.

If posts do not go to LJ I do not see them until much later. Both LJ and DW seem to have tumbleweeds on the roads

I still read here more than I post but mostly because I am spoiled by phone access while at the same time hating thumb typing. I did figure out how to set alerts for the few fokks that still seem to pop by now and again and for captain_phil who is still a regular much more consistently than most of us.

I check in once a day out of habit, but it's often for nothing. Very little revealing going on. So many abandoned accounts. I wonder who is still alive.

And I admit to posting to here to shake the bushes, as it were :)
