The Blue Jackets today signed veteran center Mike York. It's a one year, two-way contract so if he does not make the team he can go and play in Syracuse

I expect he'll probably spend most of the season in Syracuse, if not all, but I'd love a pleasant surprise.

750K if he plays in Columbus, 100K in Syracuse. That's a lot of incentive to make the big club. Novotny should get to work.

We'll see what happens but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a very spirited training camp.
