Thoughts on the beer in my house

By now you know I like beer. You may know my preferences and dislikes of the beverage. Buying beer is a tough decision sometimes. Does one go for quality, or quality? Depends on the situation. Are we talking about the same Schaefer? The only corn brewed beer in America? Say it ain't so. I never liked that beer.

Ohio has the Shiner brews, right? Have you tried any of those yet and, if so, what are your thoughts?

Shiner is available here. I've only had the Bock, it was years ago and I was not impressed.

That Sierra Nevada Porter is top class.

Thanks for this post. Most of the beers I've had tasted like carbonated cat urine. At least now I know some other beers to try!

Oh Man-my friends and I drank Blatz all through college because we liked the price and the name-one of my professors was once quoted as saying "Blatz?! I bet that'll give ya the Schlitz!"

Another nasty one I did not drink. There was also a Philadelphia bewwery called Schmidt's that had the same effect.
