i was listening to hillary's victory speech last night. she mentioned fighting autism, along with a lengthy list of other conditions. the first time i heard the word come from the mouth of any candidate this election season.

It's a pander. Autism is the Alzheimer's of this campaign. Mark my words. After all, you have all of those heartbreaking images of kids with autism that can be exploited to political advantage.

Of course it's pandering. At least one of the candidates (or her advisors) have some awareness of it.
