Living in any large-ish city you are bound to see a lot of people around the down town areas with cardboard signs asking for money.  I saw one yesterday that would have actually made me give the person money if there weren't two police officers there talking to him.  At the very least it made me smile:

Werewolves are after me,
Spare some silver?

That's some creative homeless people round your way. We have some beshawled gypsy mama saying "Hey boss, buy Big Issue?" at the moment, that's as interesting as it gets.
