Port balls. *gigglesnort*

I cannot cook to save my life.

But bake?! I am the Queen of Cupcakes; I make a tremendous banana & chocolate loaf; I make sweets, tarts, cookies, muffins...

...and yet struggle to poach a couple of eggs. Oh well. :D

Yeah, for me, if it doesn't say "Microwave on high for 3 minutes, let cool, then eat", then I'm pretty much shit out of luck. Except for Ramen Noodles, the staple of college students everywhere. Delicious noodles, you'll never leave me.

You were there, breathing the same air as Alton Brown, Masaharu Morimoto, and Michael Symon?!?! May I bask in your aura for a moment?

As you can see, I watch the Food Network...A LOT...

I seem to have inherited the "cooking gene" from my grandmother and do all the cooking in my family. Holidays are interesting at my house.

I should post pictures. I should have taken more pictures, really. Morimoto's shorts were pretty funny. Well, they were plain white, but they seemed so out-of-place on him that it became funny. And Alton drank wine, port, and champagne over the course of his half-hour time slot. Funny man.

Morimoto in shorts...I think I need brain bleach.

Was Alton still standing by the end of his half hour?

Yeah, his legs were not made for shorts, especially in the whole solid white chef's uniform he was wearing.

Alton was hiccupping by the end of the seminar. Also, he had a saber in hand. It could only end in sorrow.
