Hee! I love reading about your travels, Hans! And that bear...I know that bear. There resides a bear like that in Ashland, OR, where I went to college, outside of a candy shop. Did the shop name have "Mountain" in it somewhere? I seem to remember the place in Ashland having "Mountain" in it, or maybe "Cascades" or something. Wow, that's not vague at all.

Anyway, we would go there and get tiger butter apples, which were apples dipped in caramel, then wrapped in tiger butter (basically white chocolate and peanut butter), then sometimes rolled in chocolate and nuts. So delicious!

Looks like you guys had fun on your trip!

I can't remember the name of the candy shop. It might have had "mountain" in it; we were in crazy-ass mountain-laden San Fran, after all. Friggin' mountains.

Tiger Butter should have been made out of real tigers. But I guess white chocolate/PB is good too. Still, mmmmm tigers.

The trip continues! Eventually! Even though it was two months ago.
