Today was surprisingly productive. Did laundry, purchased supplies for our upcoming trip to Ohio, and then went to replace my broken glasses. I decided to give contact lenses a try. Wheeee! Good call on the contact lenses!! You'll love 'em once you get used to them. You'll especially love 'em during your black belt test.

I'm thinking I'd be better off not seeing that. "Egads! Yon foot looms close to mine noggin- OOOOFFF!"

Time to master the fine art of putting in and removing said lenses. And after that, getting a pair of shades. Woot!

LOL...I remember the early days of the contact lenses. You feel like you're in a fishbowl or something. It's like a weeklong trip without the purple piggies etc.

See? You're becoming web (psst psst) already. Now how can we get fizrep in contacts?

Shiny contacts do not a Webling make! They do make my eyes funny though. Maybe the purple piggies will show later.

Yeah, I hated my contact lenses when I first got em. It was like I always felt like there was an eyelash in my eye or something. Then one day I was driving and I decided to put the windows down because it was so nice out. Well the wind hit my face and made me blind for like 30 seconds cause it makde my contacts all dry and I had to pull over and shut my windows. Very traumatic I tell ya....

Needless to say, I am back to just wearing my glasses......

On the non-glasses related part of this post, I just found out some guys from my office periodically hyjack the tech room to game together after hours. At least now I know other geeks do it too! ;)
