Are you talking about Bernard? She's been there forever.

Bernard? I am not familiar with such a thing.

wow didn't notice that. :| chaostorm October 11 2009, 01:59:26 UTC
You are of course speaking of the Fish-House when you use the term 'Aquarium', correct? It seems that dangerous creatures should be slain, not allowed to live peaceable lives attacking innocents.

Bernard isn't intentionally dangerous, she just- shows affection in the only way a giant pink squid can.

I fail to see how dragging a woman clearly fighting against a squid was it? can be seen as showing affection.

Well, think of it this way- if you were a giant pink squid, how else would you show someone you liked them?

I would learn to speak the common tongue and express it as such.

Are you okay?

Physically, I am presently unharmed. Though the creature's limbs caused damage, time remedies such things.

As long as you're all right.

My thanks for your concern, Master Stigmata.

What, Bernard? I wouldn't call her harmless, but she's certainly no threat. If you don't like [pentap; what IS bernard anyway?] sea creatures, I'd advise you to just stay away from the Aquarium period.

I should not be restricted from an area merely because a dangerous creature is allowed to live. How can you be certain that another was not killed by this vile thing's attempt at affection?

I'm fairly sure that somebody would have reported it, for one. Plus, nobody seems to feel anything stronger than mild irritation at Bernard. Mostly, though, it's because we haven't found any swimming corpses in there.

I see your priorities now. You would require someone murdered to truly take action against a clearly aggressive foe.

Bernard's like that. It just means that she likes you.

Murder is not an acceptable form of friendship-creation.

I bet she would've let you go.

I highly doubt it. Such creatures are not prone to bouts of mercy.
