THANK YOU for giving us your impressions. I couldn't stop grinning while reading this post, howevermuch the film's plot is sad and serious. Yay!Colin! Just can't wait to get to watch this, somehow.

I'll surely be visiting again to see what others say and what questions they ask. I've got one question right off the cuff; what exactly is going on in the bonfire scene? (ETA: Re-posted to add the post heading)

Awwwww you're cute! I know the movie *IS* really sad & serious but they just brought in the right kind of humour I think. It's just amazing. I really loved it.

How cool. I guess Colin learned to drive after all. Plus I heard he doesn't smoke so learning must have been fun.

So glad you had a good time and actually got to tell him how brill he was in the movie.

I can tell you that learning to smoke normally is no fun, it tastes horrible (well, it always does, but when you've been getting used to it, you don't realise that any longer :P) and from what I've seen he's smoking cigarettes sans filter.
Even if those were herbal cigarettes, faking to smoke them would've stung (because inadvertently you'd inhale a few times, it's like a reflex) and the taste would've been bitter and rather disgusting.

But he looks a lot more convincing smoking here than he did in The Studio, he must've practised! ;P
