Summary: Short introspective fic from Kurama's point of view. Hiei's been gone a long time, and Kurama is through waiting. "And so tonight is the last night. For walking, for remembering, for all of this."

This is actually really good and completely IC for Kurama, which is more than I can say for a lot of Kurama/Hiei fic.

H/K does tend to warp itself until the characters are sickeningly OOC. I'm always super paranoid that I'll post something so OOC that people just vomit. ^_^

Yeah, this was written to Walking After Midnight. I'm glad that the mood of the song was able to shine through.

As for fluff... I don't turn out a whole lot of it. I try, but I always end up afraid that it's too OOC and scrap it. T_T

I have a question for you- where on Earth did you find your beta reader? I need to find one for myself, for I am a woman of many mistakes. :(

Actually, I found my beta in kind of a round about way. I actually asked a friend if they would beta for me, and she said that she didn't beta, but that she would talk to some of her friends that did. Mika volunteered and she's been lovely ever since.

If you're interested, I'd be willing to beta for you. You could take me on a trial basis. ;)
If not, don't feel bad. You won't hurt my feelings. :) If you are, just let me know. I'll share my weaknesses and strengths as a beta with you so that you know what you're getting into.
