oh I love the idea (and Alan, and Helen and just about all your cast....)

There's something about retired people and paranoia, maybe because they're bored, just seems so real and OF course Jane would fight aliens. She's badass!

Thanks!! I was prompted by a friend and didn't really know what to do with the idea at first, but then it kind of got rolling and now I'm really attached to it!

I'm glad you like Jane! I think she may be my hardest character to write. Originally she was going to be based a bit on Andrew Wiggin but I'm not sure that will come through any more. We'll see. :)
