i finished Like Water for Chocolate around three weeks ago! it was fantastic! it isn't as elaborate as novels by Marquez or Allende, those being ridiculously large shoes to fill of course, but it was nonetheless interesting, refreshing, engaging, and exhilarating. hahah. parang book jacket lang. anyway, you have to read it! :D
