I agree so much re: Across the Universe.
people have told me so, so many times that it's "the most perfect movie ever" but if it's perfect, why does it need three long shots for a car driving by? or a full song just to establish the point that the characters are happy or sad or lesbian? aghh

Also--TRUFAX--one of my friend's friends is in the movie. He plays the crazy dancing guy. She had a crush on him and would refuse to admit that he was gay until alas, the evdience was pretty telling...

I don't remember who the crazy dancing guy is, wryyy. (Weren't there a lot of them?) I thought Jude sans Englishness would have been unspeakably dull (as things were, he was already sort of just... whooo stock main character). But I liked Lucy's crazy older brother who drops out of Princeton. |D
