HEY GUYS/GALS, guess what! I am typing this on my new laptop. This thing is awesome. I love it. The only game I have on it right now is Rise of Nations (which is like age of empires) so I haven't tested the full power of the graphics. STOP! you're wasting your time! assuming your other computer has a dvd player, simply find the place where itunes hides the music files (i believe it's simply under "my music"-->"itunes" or somesuch). burn a few data DVDs. each dvd holds 4.8mb compared to a cd's capacity of 0.7mb. they're not much more expensive either nowadays. once you've burned them, copy them onto your new computer and tell itunes to import. facile.

Borrow someone's iPod, put all your music on there, and then load it onto your laptop via the program "ephpod" which can be downloaded for free at it's site (google the word "ephpod" and the first site should be the right one.) If the person already has a full iPod, it may take a few trips...
